The Steinbach Pistons lost to the Dauphin Kings on Saturday night 5-2. 

The Pistons put themselves in a hole early in the first falling down 2-0 in the first 8 minutes. 

Bradley Schoonbaert got the Pistons on the board scoring a power play goal for his 27th of the year. Tyler Anderson and Ryan Carlson added the assists. Anderson now has a 14 game point streak. 

Danny Pion tied the game moments later also on the power play for his 7th of the year. Braden Purtill and Joseph Leonidas picked up the assists. 

The two teams went into the first intermission tied 2-2. 

Late in the second, Dauphin scored on a tip in front to make it 3-2 after 40 minutes. 

The Pistons never could recover. The Kings pressed and potted a couple more goals and finished off a 5-2 win. 

Steinbach was 2-3 on the power play and 3 for 4 on the penalty kill. Shots on goal were 45-25 Steinbach. 

The Pistons will wrap up their 3 games in a 3-night stretch on Sunday night vs the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. The pre-game show is on at 7:15 and puck drop at 7:30 pm.
