Eric Loeppky will play for Canada at the U21 Pan Am Cup in Fort McMurray, Alberta later this month.

The 18-year-old Steinbach product was named to Canada's National Junior Men's Volleyball team roster on Thursday.

It's the second year in a row Loeppky has been chosen to play for Canada.

The 6'5'' outside hitter was on the Junior National squad that won bronze at the U21 NORCECA Continental Championship in Gatineau, Quebec last July.

The U21 Pan Am Cup will be held May 14th - 21st.

Canada will play in Group B with Barbados, Brazil and Guatemala.

Two spots to the 2017 FIVB U21 World Championships in the Czech Republic are available in Fort McMurray.

Loeppky was named the Canada West & U Sports Rookie of the Year this past season which was his freshman year with the national champion Trinity Western Spartans.
