The 15U Providence Pilots volleyball team were victorious in their inaugural tournament this past weekend.

The Pilots defeated 204 Gold in the Championship Game.

Providence lost in straight sets to 204 Gold in the round robin but persevered in the final winning 26-24, 21-25, 15-11.

Six club teams took part in the tournament, four of which were 15U teams; Providence, Tsunami, 204 Cardinal and 204 Gold.

Two 14U teams; 204 Gold & the Junior Pilots also competed.

The Pilots coaching staff believes the tournament showing will be a stepping stone for how the team will improve and grow throughout the season.

The 15U Pilots, who had 11 wins and 4 losses during the tournament, have already committed to attending Canadian Nationals in Edmonton this spring.
