The Steinbach Pistons captured a 2-1 overtime win in Dauphin on Friday night.

There was no scoring until the second period when Bradley Schoonbaert converted on a power play to make it 1-0 Steinbach. Tyler Anderson extended his point streak to 13 games with an assist while Mack Graham picked up the second helper for his 78th point on the year.

The Kings answered back in the third to tie the game at 1-1.

Regulation solved nothing as the Pistons headed to the extra period for the second time in three games.

Jordan Bochinski deflected home a point shot from Joseph Leonidas to seal the win for Steinbach. Braden Purtill started the play with some hard work in the corner and was credited with an assist.

Roman Bengert was fantastic again as he made several key saves in his 35th win of the year.

The power play was 1-4 while the penalty kill was 3-3.
