Ecole St. Joachim of La Broquerie boys and girls teams along with Niverille girls and Steinbach Christian boys are Zone 13 High School varsity volleyball champions.

The Braves defeated Pointe des Chenes 25-13, 25-21 in the "A"  girls final while Ecole St. Joachim had the only "A" boys team in the zone.

The Flames swept the Lac du Bonnet Chargers 25-12, 25-11, 25-15 in the "AA" boys final and the Panthers defeated the Powerview Pacers 25-15, 25-17, 25-18 in the "AA" girls final.

Ecole St. Joachim, Steinbach Christian and Niverville advance to regional qualifiers next weekend.

The finalists at each regional playdown will qualify for the Provincials later this month.
