Emergency crews were called to a T-bone collision at the intersection of Highway 12 and Greenland road at 12:40 Thursday afternoon.

RCMP say a westbound pickup, driven by a 24-year-old male from the RM of Tache, proceeded through the intersection and collided with a southbound SUV driven by a woman from Steinbach.

The woman was transported to a Winnipeg hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Southbound traffic on Highway 12 was detoured for approximately 25 minutes.

RCMP say charges are pending.

Police initially reported the female driver was 70 years old. RCMP have since confirmed her age to be 84.
