RCMP say alcohol is believed to have been a factor in a head-on collision Saturday night near La Broquerie. It occurred at 8:30 p.m. on Highway #302, just north of the community.

Police say it appears a southbound car veered over the center line and collided with a northbound truck. There were four occupants in the truck and three were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries. The adult male and lone occupant of the car was also transported to hospital. Police say his injuries are not known.

No further information has been released at this time.
