Fine art, dance, band, and choir students at Steinbach Regional Secondary School came together to showcase their talents and creativity during Wednesday evening's Artsapalooza.

Choir student Alix Verrier says singing is one of her biggest passions and it was a great opportunity to provide parents and community members a taste of what they've been working on throughout the semester.

"I really enjoy showcasing more of the arts in the school rather than sports because I'm not a sports person and I think arts should be equally showcased in the school."

Choir student Amanda Jabs says singing is also an important part of her life and it's an interesting mix of art students.

"It's kind of interesting just to see how talented other art students are because we don't necessarily get to see that."

The first Artsapalooza was held in 2015, shortly after the new addition of the school was complete.
