There was a two-vehicle collision Friday morning just east of the golf course in Steinbach. Assistant Fire Chief Russ Reimer says a pick-up truck and an SUV collided at the corner of Old Tom Road and Park Road around 9:30 a.m.

"It looks like we had one vehicle travelling southbound on Old Tom and one vehicle was either crossing east on Park or they may have even been turning onto Old Tom, it's uncertain at this time, when they collided."

Reimer says there was one person in each vehicle. He adds the drivers were both checked out at the scene and released.
