The Grunthal Fire Department attended a two-vehicle collision on Highway 216 around 6:30 A.M. Tuesday.

Grunthal District Fire Chief Dan Hiebert says the collision took place two miles south of Grunthal.

"It was very foggy conditions, if you were driving this morning you know and then one person stopped for a herd of deer and the other person hit them from behind."

Hiebert says there were three people involved in the collision. He notes one was taken to hospital as a precaution and the other two were released at the scene.
