Four Fire Departments Fight Fire South Of Steinbach

Four fire departments attended a fire four miles south of Steinbach Wednesday afternoon.

Hanover Fire Chief Paul Wiebe says there was a small building on fire which sparked a grass fire. He says the Kleefeld Fire Deparment was fighting the fire with the assistance of the Grunthal, New Bothwell, and Steinbach Fire Departments.

Wiebe adds the cause and damage estimate will be determined after investigations are complete.
