A teenager was arrested in Niverville early Monday morning for stealing from vehicles.

St. Pierre RCMP were notified around 1:00 a.m. about a suspicious person who appeared to be going through vehicles on Claremont Drive which is located southeast of the high school. Officers were able to find the suspect in a very short period of time. A 15-year-old male was arrested and later released into the custody of his parents on a promise to appear in court August 28th in St. Pierre.

Police say he will face charges of Theft, Possession of a Weapon and possibly others as the investigation continues.
