"When we got on scene we found two vehicles involved in a two-vehicle collision, one was heading west and one was heading north crossing a major highway so right now it is under investigation with the RCMP."

The westbound SUV had a driver and two passengers and the northbound car had a lone occupant. Everyone involved in the collision was checked by EMS and released at the scene. RCMP say one ticket was issued for proceeding when unsafe to do so.
