Rainfall amounts varied greatly Thursday night in thunderstorms here in the southeast.

Steinbach received only 1.5 millimetres while St. Pierre, Zhoda and Marchand got 4-5 millimetres.

But St. Adolphe recorded 38 millimetres or 1.5 inches, Niverville 43 millimetres or 1.7 inches and Dugald had 45 millimetres or 1.8 inches.

Rosenort received 62 millimetres or 2.5 inches and has now had 8 inches of rain in the past three weeks.

The forecast calls for showers to end Friday morning and then mainly sunny skies for the weekend.
