Steinbach RCMP arrested an impaired driver near Kleefeld Saturday morning. Officers stopped a vehicle on PR 216, two miles south of Kleefeld, at 9:18 a.m. They say the driver was tested and had a blood-alcohol level above.08. A 21-year-old male from Mitchell was charged with impaired driving.

RCMP also report they were called to a domestic assault in Steinbach at 12:15 a.m. on Saturday. Investigators charged a 26-year-old male was arrested and charged. They add alcohol was a factor in the incident.
