RCMP have released more information on a single vehicle collision that happened north of Ile des Chenes last month where the driver was found with firearms and drugs in his possession.

On November 30th at shortly after 4:45 AM, police arrived at a collision scene along Highway 59 near Royal Oak Road. Police say a 26-year old man from Winnipeg, named Ryan Moar, had allegedly hit a hydro-pole after losing control of his vehicle and driving into the ditch.

Allegedly, an on-site investigation revealed that Moar’s vehicle contained cash, multiple cell phones, a pellet gun, cocaine, and another drug called Lorazepam. All items were seized immediately.

Moar is now facing several charges including Carrying a Concealed Weapon and two charges of Possession of Drugs with the Purpose of Trafficking.

Moar also had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
