Motorists traveling east along the Trans-Canada Highway are advised that a semi truck with a loaded trailer is partly blocking one of the lanes just before the Steinbach turn off.

The semi hit the ditch before 9:30 this morning and has been obstructing traffic since. 

RCMP report as of 10:15 Thursday morning there were three semis in the ditch along the Trans-Canada Highway east of Winnipeg and two collisions in the City of Steinbach.

Staff Sergeant Harold Laninga asks people not to venture out onto the roads unless absolutely necessary and to use extreme caution if they do go out.
