The Executive Director for Ste. Anne Hospital Fund says their 13th annual Lobsterfest went amazingly well.

There were 222 people in attendance Saturday in Niverville, raising $53,750.

"We are a little bit lower than last year," says Lorraine Roziere. "And higher than the eleven previous years."

The group consumed one thousand pounds of lobster.

Roziere says the money raised will go towards the improvement of hospital services.

"There's always new equipment, some construction projects," says Roziere. "So it's definitely going to go towards improvement of services."

Roziere says this has become a very popular event over the years and says it shows the engagement and dedication that people have towards the Ste. Anne Hospital Fund.
