For the first time since 2006, voters in the Village of St. Pierre will head to the polls. 2017 12 stpierre

Two candidates, Justin Kehler and Darryl Harder, are vying for a councillor position vacated at the end of November when Francine Roy handed in her resignation because she had moved to Winnipeg.

Up to this point, all council candidates in St. Pierre in the last 13 years have been elected by acclamation.

The by-election is scheduled for February 13.
