enVision Community Living delivered 190 pizzas from Rocco's Pizza as part of their annual corporate pizza fundraiser.

That according to Jo-Anne Dalton the Fundraising Promotion Coordinator. She says they have partnered with Rocco's since they opened and notes it is a great fundraiser because everybody loves pizza. She notes for the last few weeks volunteers have been distributing order forms and fliers to businesses throughout the community.

"What the businesses will do is order a variety of different pizzas for themselves or their staff and then a portion of those proceeds will go back to the enVision Foundation. We collect the orders, we go down to Rocco's and then it is our volunteers who actually deliver the pizzas."

Dalton says the fundraiser brought in $2,200 for enVision but also helps by bringing general awareness of the enVision Foundation into local businesses.

"The awareness part is the most important piece. enVision is one of the largest charities in the Southeast and spreading the message of inclusion, especially in the workplace, is really important. These are all businesses that support us and that we hope continue to support us and have our clients part of their workforce."

Dalton says this is the 60th anniversary for enVision and they have held a number of special events to celebrate. She notes they will now start to send mail outs and push for corporate appeal.
