Gabriel Vilardi scored a pair of power play goals and Laurent Brossoit made 36 saves in the Winnipeg Jets 6-3 victory over the Minnesota Wild Tuesday night at Canada Life Centre.

Vilardi, who also picked up an assist on Kyle Connor's 20th goal of the season 1:54 into the second period, has eight points during a three-game point streak.

Connor finished the night with a goal and two helpers.

Mason Appleton, Sean Monahan and Nino Niederreiter into an empty net also scored for the Jets who were coming off a 6-3 loss to the Flames in Calgary on Monday. 

Monahan has five goals in his last three games.  

Brossoit is 8-4-2 in 14 starts this season and has an impressive 5-1-1 record in his past seven.

Marco Rossi had a pair of goals for the Wild who saw their six-game points streak come to an end.  

The Jets led 2-0 and 3-1 at the period breaks. 

Winnipeg (34-15-5) has won four of its last five games and will meet the Blackhawks in Chicago on Friday.
