Country and Rock headliners announced for Summer in the City

Steinbach’s summer festival in June will feature two big concerts and the headlining acts for Summer in the City were announced this morning. 

“Saturday night, we’re bringing in a Tribute band by the name of Titans of Rock,” says David Klassen, coordinator of SITC Stage and Production. “Titans of Rock is a double show, just like we did last year. They are going to be doing tributes of Journey and Bon Jovi. So, if you're looking for an 80s celebration, this is the one. We were super, super pumped about that one. And then on Friday night country night, none other than the James Barker band.” 

The James Barker Band has fueled an incredible story over the last decade, largely on their own, from opening for local bands in dive bars to charting multiple No. 1 singles and hundreds of millions of global streams to headlining festivals and playing stages across North America and Europe. They recently played the Grand Ole Opry stage and were nominated for a JUNO in the Country Album of the Year category for their album Ahead of Our Time. 

“We're so, so excited to be able to host these amazing artists on our main stage,” Klassen says. “It's going to be a festival unlike any other.

Tickets prices are $55 for Friday night and $45 for Saturday night and for a limited time, you can purchase tickets for both nights for only $90.
