A man from Morden is closely watching the situation in Lebanon. Dr. Khalid Rashid is originally from the war stricken area currently under fire from Israel. He says it's a tragic situation. Rashid has a vested interest in the situation as his wife and two daughters are visiting family there. He has been using the phone and Internet to stay in contact with his family. Rashid says his family is taking the necessary steps to be evacuated as soon as possible. He says no place is really safe from the war, but his family is further north of the battle zone.
