The RM of Hanover is asking people in the municipality not to remove their civic addressing signs.

They just went up this summer.  Deputy Reeve Stan Toews says already a number of people have been pulling them out.  Toews says if some people are finding the sign is in an inconvenient location just call the office and they'll try to find a place more out of the way.  To try and deal with any potential problems with the civic addressing signs the municipality passed a by-law that makes it the responsiblity of the homeowner to maintain them and outlines some consequences if people pull them out.
