Jody Arsenault and her two daughters.

Valentine's Day is not just for adults but also for children and their classmates.

Jody Arsenault asked local mom's what they thought about giving a Valentine to every other student in their child's class and the consensus was, yes, every child should receive a Valentine.  Arsenault says one teacher came up with the creative idea of having each child in their class pick one name and then making a Valentine so no one was left out.  She also heard another story.

"Someone else said that the day before they had to give out the Valentines there was a child who was not being very nice to their child and so their child didn't really want to write a Valentine to them.  And then the mom had said, 'it's often the children who feel hurt who kinda hurt others.  So let's try, let's give them a Valentine anyway and maybe it will make them feel better.'"

Arsenault notes, growing up, she was one of the kids who felt left out and so she's all about making sure everyone feels included and gets a Valentine.
