Staff at Steinbach's Youth Job Centre have cleaned out their desks for another season.
The centre officially closed its doors Friday.  Summer Employment Officer Richard Bracken says it was a remarkable year with numbers way up from 2005.  Bracken says 175 students visited the centre this year, nearly twice as many as last year.  They had job orders for 120 positions.  Bracken says surprisingly, many of those came in the last 3 weeks thanks to a mail campaign which saw fliers hit 500 mailboxes.  He says there is tremendous support for the job centre from local politicians, businesses and the media.
