The fundraising season is about to kick off at Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach.
Executive Director Gary Martens says Fall On The Farm was their last big event of the summer and now their focus will shift to fundraising.  Martens says on September 10th they will hold the inaugural Heritage Walk.  As many as 200 people are expected to take part in an effort to raise money for the Museum.  Martens says the start of September also means the start of fall activities for schools.  They will offer the programs with a much smaller staff as many of their summer students are back in university.
