Organizers in Morris are thrilled with how well the 2007 Scotties Tournament Of Hearts turned out.Just over 10,000 people turned out to watch the event last week. Co-chair Lorne Hamblin says they had great ice, super volunteers and excellent weather. He says the host committee will now assess how their operations carried through during the five days and explore the possiblity of bringing more high caliber curling events in the future. Mayor Dale Hoffman says the community made a very lasting impression on their visitors. Hoffman says it was a nice way to showcase the town's new arena facility.
