STARS Transports One To Hospital After HWY 52 Collision

STARS Air Ambulance was called to a collision at the intersection of Highway 52 and Provincial Road 216 South just before 6 P.M. Thursday.

STARS Air Ambulance attends collisionKleefeld Deputy District Fire Chief Armin Dueck says there were three people involved in the collision.

"Two vehicle collision, one patient was airlifted to Winnipeg with STARS. A traffic analyst is here at this point, doing an investigation."

Dueck says the two other occupants were transported to hospital by ground ambulance. He notes the extent of their injuries is unknown at this point. He adds Highway 52 will be closed to all traffic until 10 or 11 P.M.

The investigation is ongoing.
