Stonybrook Middle School was evacuated early Tuesday afternoon due to a fire alarm.

Steinbach Assistant Fire Chief Russ Reimer says upon investigation it turned out to be a false alarm.

School Principal Rita Rebizant says due to the colder weather, students made their way to the Steinbach Regional Secondary School across the street until they were given the okay to come back into their school.
