Success in business can be attributed to many reasons, and at Fairway Ford, one sits top of the list – community.

“We can't do anything without the community behind us, and in turn, we want to be servants and give back and help where we can,” says John Verret, General Manager of Fairway Ford. “It's a great partnership.”

Verret says Fairway Ford has a long history of service in the community. The dealership has been at the same Steinbach location for more than 100 years, making it one of the oldest Ford dealerships in Western Canada. It was formerly called J.R Friesen & Sons before its name change in 1983.

The dealership has continued to grow over the years, including this past year. Verret says the support of loyal customers is key.

“They trust us with purchasing vehicles, servicing, buying parts, and in our body shop,” he says. “We take that right to heart. We want to work better every day to ensure that we can meet that customer satisfaction and continue this great thing we have going on our community.”

Verret says they look forward to continued growth and improving relationships with their customers even more in the year ahead.

“There's a lot of hard work that goes into that dedication to get here,” he explains. “I'm very proud of our staff and how they take customer service so seriously. We treat people like they are family – that's our slogan. We try to live that every day, and we definitely got to see the results from that.”

Verret says he wants to send a big thank-you to customers for their ongoing loyalty, support, and relationships. “It truly does feel like a family here. Everybody who works at Fairway Ford understands that, and it's an absolute privilege to continue to serve everyone.”
