Soap For Hope in support of Steinbach Community Outreach is today.

From 8 AM to 8 PM at Pharmasave in Steinbach, you can drop off unused items like dish soap, laundry detergent (pods preferred), body wash, shampoo, and hand soap.

Many community groups have already begun collecting for Soap For Hope.

Sara Richards is a receptionist at Stoneybrook Middle School and she says the students have been gathering items to drop off as part of 'Kindness Week'.

"All week we are showing kindness everywhere we go to anyone," Richards explains. "So, we jumped on board with Soap For Hope and it's been going amazing! Our community of SMS has been amazing, the community has really come forward to want to help. Every day bags of soap come in, everyone has been going above and beyond. Seeing how excited the kids are to be a part of it, it's special."
