Meals on the Farm wraps up after five stops across the Southeast
Meals on the Farm, presented by Steinbach Credit Union, has officially wrapped up after five memorable visits across the Southeast. Each stop highlighted a different part of agriculture, from sheep and cattle to grain production. Along with meaningful conversations about the season, guests enjoyed meals prepared by the Mennonite Heritage Village, and event sponsors provided prizes for the host farms. This year’s hosts included Seine River Shepherds, Cure Farms, Falkdale Farms, Valley Ridge Farms, and Kohmar Farms. This initiative once again showcased the dedication of farm families who work long hours to ensure our communities are well-fed. Thank you to those who took time to recognize each of these teams and nominated them through the Meals on the Farm contest page. As another season of Meals on the Farm comes to a close, a heartfelt thank you goes out to all local farmers, whether they received a visit or not. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, especially as harvest season gets underway.
