Everybody has experienced 50/50 tickets at sporting events, but, not often at baseball games. Now, there is a new way that makes it easier for teams in Manitoba to fundraise in a modernized way.
The Carillon Sultans are in and coach Alex Grenier is excited for the possibilites this brings. "It's a terrific way to fundraise for our team and it's really easy. You just click the link Http://bmb.raffle.link/1304 and follow the steps. It's a building jackpot with the first draw coming up on June 1st."
In total, 3 jackpots will be awarded. June 1st, July 4th and July 17th.
A credit card will be required to purchase. Grenier knows some people will be a bit apprehensive about supplying their credit card number, but he says it's for a good reason. "It has to be a Manitoba winner. No one from other provinces can buy. So, you know the money is coming from Manitoba and staying in Manitoba."
Currently, the 1st draw sits at $1977.00. The Carillon Sultans junior team is leading the province in sales with $425 while the second place team is at $160.
Baseball Manitoba has partnered with a company called Funding Change. It will help teams raise funds, for more details, click the link http://www.baseballmanitoba.ca/news_details.php?news_id=561
