"Bernice had major foot surgery at the beginning of January. She had a pin put through her toe, a bone removed, etc. Not pleasant. She has been wearing a big boot cast since that time. She has worked almost continuously since that time, hobbling around on her cast in spite of the pain and awkward foot situation. I think she deserves a treat!"
