One person was transported to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Steinbach Shortly before 2:00 P.M. Tuesday.

RCMP Constable Denis Redikop says each of the two vehicles had a single occupant.

“We got called to a two vehicle MVC here at Highway 12 and Park between two SUV’s. One traveling northbound on 12 had a green light in early investigations, and another vehicle traveling east on Park which, to my understanding right now, she ran a red light and hit the vehicle that was traveling northbound.”

Constable Redikop says the driver of the northbound SUV was transported to hospital with unknown injuries while the second driver was checked over and released at the scene.
