Oakbank RCMP, along with Springfield Police and CP Police, responded to a report of a pedestrian having been struck by a train at the crossing located on Day Street, near Risque Avenue, in the RM of Springfield on Wednesday, August 9 at approximately 12:25 pm.

Officers attended the location and located a 40-year-old female from Saskatoon who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Oakbank RCMP, along with CP Police, continue to investigate.
