Former Goldeyes pitcher Ben Moore struck out eight and allowed just three hits and one run over five innings of work as the Sioux Falls Pheasants downed Winnipeg 4-1. The lone Goldeyes run came in the bottom of the first inning as Brian Myrow drove in Price Kendall. Henry Contreras and Reggie Ambercrombie homered for the Pheasants. Winnipeg has Monday off and will begin a three-game series with the Sioux City Explorers on Tuesday at Shaw Park. The Goldeyes (38-33) are two games ahead of the St. Paul Saints in the race for first place in the American Association's North Division.
