Tom Hoge of Fargo has the lead at the midway point of the Canadian Tour’s Players Cup. Hoge was four-under par 67 on Friday at Pine Ridge and has a 36-hole total of nine-under par 133.

Second round leader Tom Hoge talked about Monday's qualifier at Elmhurst which got him into the Players Cup.

Josh Habig of San Diego is in second place. The 2006 MTS Classic champion was 69 and is at minus 8. Dustin Risdon of Calgary was 68 and is at minus seven. The low round of the day belonged to Brian Prouty of Tuscon. He was six-under par 65 and is at minus six.

Sixty-nine golfers including two Manitobans will play on the weekend as the cut line was two-over par 144. Brad Kirton was one-over par 72 and is in a tie for 21st place at minus two. Rob McMillan was one-under par 70 and is at minus one.

Matt Johnston was 71 on Friday and missed the cut by three shots. He finished at 147. Tyler Mancini, Aaron Cockerill and Ryan Horn were 148.

Dean North, Adam Speirs and Jesse Skelton were 150. North, who was 81 on Thursday cut 12 strokes off his second round as the Carman head professional was two-under par 69 on Friday.

Peter More and Josh Wytinck were 151. Adrian Kibsey and Eric Johnson were 152.
