About 40 more volunteers in groups of two are needed to help Southeast Helping Hands deliver hampers next week.

Driver Coordinator Stacy Keam-Froese says drivers are able to register online and, during a three-hour shift, help deliver up to 15 hampers and toys. Keam-Froese adds, being a part of Community Christmas has been a big part of her holiday season the past ten years.

"Last year I took a year off from being involved with Community Christmas and it just didn't feel like Christmas to me. So I'm back on board again this year. To me it's just being a part of it and being able to share love amongst all our neighbours. That's what Christmas is to me."

She says one of her favourite parts of delivery day is hearing stories from volunteers of children giving them hugs and moms thanking them for the hampers. Keam-Froese adds over the past ten years she has had many volunteers come back year after year, some having volunteered for the past ten years as well.
