The Steinbach Fire Department attended to two rollovers Wednesday night on Highway 52 between Steinbach and Mitchell. Deputy Chief Ron Chausse says they got the first call around 6:30pm.

"The first incident, everyone had already left the scene," says Chausse. "The second incident was reported as we were returning to the station which was a secondary rollover of a Ford Explorer. Again, we're happy to report there were no injuries."

Chausse says roads were slippery at the time.

There was also a rollover late Wednesday afternoon on Highway 12 just north of Steinbach and one Thursday morning on Highway 12 between Steinbach and Ste. Anne.

Meanwhile, a portion of Highway 59 was closed for about thirty minutes Thursday morning as the result of a single vehicle rollover. It happened shortly before 8:30, where Highway 59 meets Provincial Road 305. Rob Hiebert is District Fire Chief for New Bothwell Hall. He says the female driver had already freed herself by the time crews arrived. Hiebert says it appears the driver lost control because of icy road conditions. She was treated at the scene and released.

We have also heard reports of a collision along Highway 59 near Ile des Chenes Thursday morning.
