Steinbach RCMP caught two impaired drivers during the weekend.

One incident occurred Friday evening just after 11:00 at the intersection of Provincial Roads 210 and 302 at the north end of La Broquerie. A 32 year-old male was charged with impaired driving. Police say he is also facing other charges including assault in connection with an incident that happened a short time before his vehicle was pulled over by officers.

The second impaired driver was nabbed just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday following a hit-and-run collision in Richer. A 23 year-old woman from Winnipeg is facing several charges.
