The reeve of La Broquerie is asking voters for a second term.
Ken Mantie has announced he is running for re-election in October.  He says the highlight of his first term is all the growth in La Broquerie, including construction of more than 300 homes.  Mantie adds a priority for the future is to coordinate civic addressing so police, fire and ambulance have an easier time of getting to calls.  He says he would like to serve one more term, then step down.
