Manitoba Health Auxiliaries is celebrating 60 years of existance. 155 delegates came out for their 60th Annual General Meeting over the weekend in Dauphin.  Past President Phyllis Toews of Steinbach says one of the common challenges facing auxiliaries lies in trying to recruit members.  There are about 3,000 members across Manitoba and 22,000 throughout Canada.  She says auxiliaries have a phenomenal impact on communities as they raise money for equipment not supplied by Manitoba Health.  Last year alone auxiliaries raised $1.1 Million in Manitoba and $13 Million nationwide.
