MTS Wireless Restored - 11 a.m.

MTS wireless services in areas of southern Manitoba have been restored.

The service was unavailable for a brief period Sunday morning so that MTS could perform upgrades. Further work associated with the upgrades may be required at a later date.

MTS is in upgrading it's 4G wireless Network Sunday from 7 a.m. until 12 noon.

While this work is being completed, wireless service may be unavailable for up to four hours in Steinbach, Niverville, Hadashville, Lorette, Richer and La Broquerie.

Wireless service in nearby areas may also be degraded.

Landline, voice, TV, and high-speed Internet services are expected to remain operational, where available.
