The lack of sunshine didn’t stop the festivities at Saturday’s Gardenton Ukrainian Multicultural Festival.
The 165-year-old festival kicked off with a worship service and a tour of the St. Michaels Church, one of the oldest Ukrainian churches in Canada.
It was followed by a lineup of entertaining performances by Irish, African and Ukrainian dance and musical groups.
There were also plenty of food options, including traditional Ukrainian food, and activities for kids, such as face painting and barrel rides.
