Steinbach Fire was called to a roof fire at Loewen, a window and door manufacturing company in Steinbach, shortly after 10 am Sunday morning.

Deputy Fire Chief Ron Chausse says there was a small fire that was contained to the roof of the building. "The fire hasn't extended to any other location, it's under control and we are calling the fire out."

Chausse says qualified maintenance technicians were on site. "They will look after everything to make sure it's all 100%."

He adds the total value of the damage at this time is unknown.
