On Saturday afternoon at 4:12pm, STARS air ambulance reported on social media that they were dispatched for a “scene call emergency” in the Grunthal area. 

A STARS spokesperson confirms that STAR-7 helicopter and crew were dispatched for a motocross incident. 

“We rendezvoused with EMS in St. Pierre Joly. We cared for and transported an 18-year-old male to Health Sciences Centre where he arrived in critical condition.”
