Steinbach barn up in flames as part of training exercise

Anyone passing by the Hespeler Street and Loewen Boulevard intersection last night may have noticed a large barn fire.

The Steinbach Fire Department was approached by the Steinbach Hatchery to burn down the barn, and they used it as a training exercise.

They spent the morning prepping it so they could safely burn it down.
