Steinbach RCMP have arrested a high-risk individual.

At around 6pm on January 22nd, RCMP received a report that several threats to harm people were being uttered to people and police by one male. The male was located and arrested around 1am Friday morning in La Broquerie. RCMP also seized a quantity of firearms from a residence in Richer.

A 32 year old male, formerly of Steinbach and currently residing in Saskatchewan and a 33 year old female from Saskatchewan were arrested for uttering threats. No one was injured during the arrest, and both suspects are still in custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
